Peelers Convention:
JULY 4th & 5th. Located about 20 miles from
Pine Tree Lodge, at the Pennsylvania Lumber Museum. The museum starts up the Antique Sawmill on this weekend only. Competitions
on both days. Axe throwing, birling, chopping, cross-cut sawing, fiddling, greased pole climbing, and more. Demonstrations
include, basket weaving, blacksmithing, camp cooking,sawmill operations, and shingle making.
