20th Annual Upper Pine Creek Trout Tournament:
MAY 15th-16th Kids
Fishing Derby: Cowanesque Lake from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Beechwood
Lake: Located 14 miles from Pine Tree Lodge. Stocked with Trout and supports a
variety of Game-fish & Pan-fish. Limited to trolling motors only. Berger Lake:
Located 8 miles from Pine Tree Lodge. Main-Branch and West- Branch of Pine Creek meet in the town of Galeton and form Berger
Lake. Stocked with Trout. Limited to trolling motors. South-Branch of Pine Creek also flows into the Main-Branch just below
the dam. Cowanesque Lake: Located about 30 miles from Pine Tree
Lodge.No trout stocking, but one of the best Pan-fishing lakes in Pennsylvania. Large Crappie run in mid-May. Unlimited engine
use. Lake Hamilton: Located 16 miles from Pine Tree Lodge. Stocked with Trout.
Limited to trolling motors only. Hills Creek Lake: Located 22 miles from Pine
Tree Lodge. Limited to trolling motors only. No trout stocking. Mixed population of Game-fish and Pan-fish. Lyman
Run Lake: Located 15 miles from Pine Tree Lodge. Lyman Lake has finally reopened after
8 years, and has been restocked. Nessmuk Lake: Located 15 miles from Pine Tree
Lodge. Limited to trolling motors only. Mixed population of Game-fish and Pan-fish. Tioga-Hammond Lakes:
Two connected lakes located about 20 miles from Pine Tree Lodge. Unlimited engine usage. Stocked with Hybrid-Striped Bass. Pine
Creek: Runs parallel with Rt. 6 from Ansonia to the bottom of Denton Hill (about 25 miles).
Access is only 1/4 mile from Pine Tree Lodge. Stocked with Trout and also contains Small-Mouth Bass. Long Run:
Located 2-1/2 miles from Pine Tree Lodge. Runs parallel with Rt. 349 and is a tributary to Pine Creek. Stocked with Trout. Many
other Creeks & Streams: Mostly "Native" wild Trout populations. For more
